For over 40 years, TAB® Computer Systems, Inc. has been servicing businesses in all types of industries and sizes. In 2021, we became a 100% employee-owned company that adopted a client-focused, client-driven mindset.

For almost any computer issue, TAB® has your solution. We stock a large inventory of technology hardware ready when your company needs it. Our clients don’t wait for a replacement router, switch, WAP, or even a server when they need it, and neither should you. Our technically skilled and experienced staff ensures the high quality of our products and services.

We are one of the largest IT service providers in the Hartford Metro area. Since our inception, we have grown to include 40 certified technical professionals and support staff servicing hundreds of clients. We are committed to providing our clients with the best IT support that can be found in our market at the most competitive price. The ongoing professional development of our staff means our team uses “Best-in-Class” solutions and approaches to keep your IT systems operational and secure. TAB does not require long-term contracts to become a client; we earn your business monthly.

Our current offerings include consultation services, low-cost service plans, fixed stop plans, rollover plans, server and workstation monitoring, offsite backup and disaster recovery, VoIP business phones powered by Allworx, email protection, web content filtering, and helpdesk or on-site support. We do all of this 24/7, 365 days a year.

Management Team

Anthony Arsenault
President
Mr. Arsenault became a member of TAB Computer Systems in 2016. He brought over 25 years of financial services experience to his Controller role. Since then, he has been an essential part of the management team, overseeing financial, human resources, and administrative management in line with the company's mission. In 2021, Mr. Arsenault was promoted to President as the company moved to 100% employee ownership.
Erik Semmel
VP, Client Success
Mr. Semmel has been a valued member of the company since 1990. During his time here, he has consulted and advised thousands of small business owners in New England. He also hosts "Computer Talk with TAB®," a live radio show on WTIC AM 1080 that airs every Saturday at 9 AM. Additionally, he leads the Client Success Team and their efforts.
Rick Kouatly
Head of Operations
Mr. Kouatly joined TAB in 2005 and has more than 25 years of experience in the IT field. He oversees all facets of Operations Management, including field support, in-house support, and scheduling. He holds certifications in all major Microsoft and Cisco disciplines.
Marco Prieto
In-House Manager
Mr. Prieto has been with the company since 2013 and has more than 13 years of experience in the IT field. His background includes work in manufacturing, insurance, and higher education. He oversees all internal operations, including the helpdesk, escalation, and tier 3 technicians.
Scott Doucette
Client Services Manager
Mr. Doucette joined TAB in 1993 as a programmer. He worked with Mr. Benoit to create customized databases for TAB's clients and in-house use. As the company shifted its focus away from programming, Mr. Doucette's technical skills, programming abilities, and knowledge of the company made him an ideal fit to lead TAB's Client Services Department.
Miranda Salazar
Human Resources Admin
Mrs. Salazar joined TAB in March 2019, bringing over 12 years of experience in human resource management. She is responsible for overseeing our recruiting and onboarding processes to ensure that our new employees have a smooth start. Over the past year, she has demonstrated strong leadership in HR and has focused on revamping our HR processes and procedures.
TJ Benoit
Founder, Board Member
Mr. Benoit founded TAB® Computer Systems, Inc. in 1983 and has an extensive computer programming background extending to mainframes and PC environments. He is a published author writing books on the subject of IT as it relates to small businesses. In 2021 he sold TAB Computers to the employees, making it a 100% employee-owned company. He will continue to be a part of the company in an advisory role and on the board of directors.
